The board of the Southern Recycling Centre is on the hunt for a new contractor to transport waste and supply skips.
A public notice has been issued calling for any contractors interested in tendering for the three-year contract to get in touch with the clerk of Port St Mary Commissioners office by Friday
It comes after the previous arrangement with DC Skips expired.
A ban on all commercial waste is currently in place at the site after large vehicles struggled to turn and offload waste, causing a number of incidents
Health and safety experts have been working to redesign the layout of the centre, which had been due to re-open in August.
The work hasn’t been completed yet though and the ban has been extended for a further three months.
