Huntington’s Disease Association Isle of Man has raised £166 in its flag day stall collection in Strand Street.

One of the main projects that the charity is working towards is hosting an educational weekend for patients, carers and professionals to come together and talking about living with the disease.

The charity said that they were very happy for the opportunity to talk to many people about what the disease is and their objectives, adding that most people they spoke to had either never heard of Huntington’s, or if they had, did not understand what it was.
