The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the Isle of Man today.
Forecasters say we should prepare for ice and wintry showers.
The forecast:
Occasional showers this morning, with some sleet over the hills, the showers becoming more isolated this afternoon. Temperatures only 6 Celsius at best with strong northwest winds.
Dry with some sunshine tomorrow with light or moderate northwest winds, turning cloudy tomorrow evening with rain overnight as the winds turn southwesterly. Temperatures again around 6 Celsius.
Rain at first on Saturday will soon clear to wintry showers with strong northwest winds.
