Another of our originals bands gearing up for a record release is In The Blood.

The Ramsey-based band count James Craig on guitar and vocals, David Brew on vocals, Andy James on drums, Jamie Christian on bass plus Nell Kneale and Phil Hatton sharing guitar duties in their line-up.
They are having a release show for the album at Noa Bakehouse in Douglas on Saturday, May 19.
Tickets can be purchased for £10 from tickettailor.com/events/intheblood/160853/r/web
Whilst we’re on the subject of In The Blood, a huge congratulations to them as they won their section of the Manx Music Festival last Friday night.
Finally for this week we head to Jaks where on Saturday night where you’ll find Penthouse Dive in one of their regular lots at the Douglas bar.
The three piece band that features Mark Riley on guitar and vocals, Mark Cleator on bass and Mark Brabbs on drums play covers from the likes of ZZ Top, Foo Fighters, The Police, Thin Lizzy and the like.
This band is very much a staple of the Manx gig circuit and are well worth checking out if those influences sound like your cup of tea.
