Miss Isle of Man finalist Rachel Corlett chose a novel way to promote her charity at a recent fundraiser.
She held a charity auction at the Baltic Inn pub in Foxdale and arrived there driving a pink tractor - all in aid of the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
All the finalists have been given a charity to promote and support and Rachel is aiming to raise £10,000 overall.
Saturday’s effort netted her £1,400 towards her grand total and brought her funds raised so far to around £3,900.
She thanked everyone who had offered some spectacular ’items’ to be auctioned off by auctioneer Andy McKeown, including a helicopter trip around the island, a trip on the pleasure boat, MV Karina, a hamper of cosmetic, vouchers and many more.
She also thanked Judith Cusack, licensee of the Baltic for providing a hot pot supper.
Rachel, who is 24 and lives at Ballacottier Meadow in Douglas, works for a payroll company.
