Armed police dealt with an incident on Saturday in the Pulrose area.
They were also reportedly knocking on doors in the Alder Road area asking for any CCTV footage people may have of the area.
When Isle of Man Today contacted, police, they said they were looking into the incident and would get back to us 'as soon as possible'.
It remains unclear what the incident is, but it's believed to have taken place in the evening of Saturday August 19.
