A 38-year-old woman died due to ’significant traumatic injuries’ after falling onto rocks beneath Marine Drive, Douglas.
An inquest this week opened into the death of Lisa Jane Jenkins from Douglas, who was found with multiple injuries after falling from a height.
She was a self-employed creative artist originally from Wolverhampton in England.
The date of death was declared ’unknown’ by coroner of inquests John Needham at Douglas courthouse on Tuesday, as the incident was thought to have occurred several days before her body was discovered on June 8.
Mr Needham asked for his condolences to be sent to Miss Jenkins family.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
