The Isle of Man’s badminton and table tennis players have landed several medals on the final day of the 2019 NatWest Island Games in Gibraltar.
Badminton star Jess Li clinched silver in the women’s singles competition after going up against Getter Saar from Saaremaa in the final.
She then went even better in the women’s doubles final when she teamed up with Isle of Man flagbearer Kim Clague to clinch gold, the latter’s fourth title in a row at the Games.
There was double success for birthday girl Katherine Vinas as she claimed a bronze medal in the women’s singles as well as pairing up with Karenza Baker to clinch bronze in the women’s doubles.
