A range of creations sculpted by talented hands were put on show for the first ever Manx Potters’ Fair.
Artists, ceramists and potters congregated at The Engine House in Castletown where their hand-crafted vases, garden ornaments, trinkets and more were put on display.
The event was attended by dozens of people looking to make purchases and to see what island artists have been up to.
It was organised by ceramist Susie Heckles as she felt that the growing number of talented potters in the island deserved their own dedicated arts fair.
Susie said: ’There are dozens of people who are involved in pottery and ceramics on the Isle of Man, and they all make things of such incredible quality.’
She said the fair was a chance for artists, who often sell their creations online, to sell directly to customers and to share tips, techniques and ideas.
Artists who took part included Anna Clucas, Victoria Blackburn, Erica Kermode, Colette Gambell, Celine Appleyard, Faye Christian and Steve Black alongside others.
