What is your idea of a perfect meal?
Steak, baked potato with cheese and green veg. And obviously accompanied by a really good glass of red wine. It would also probably be round a table of my friends. The best meals are always a shared experience.
What is your favourite way to relax?
Scuba diving. There’s nothing more relaxing than being under the water with nothing to disturb you but the bubbles and the fish.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My VW T2 camper. I bought it so that Isaac and I could go away with the dogs as often as possible. It’s a great base for all our adventures.
Do you have any pets?
I have two Chinese crested dogs, Max and Piper.
What is your greatest achievement?
My son. He’s an absolute legend.
What is your favourite time of the year?
I don’t have one. Every day in the Kreisky household is awesome!
What is the first job you ever had?
Working front of house at the Savoy Theatre while I was at Drama School and being thoroughly jealous of the people onstage.
Do you have any irrational fears?
I’m not really scared of anything. Stupid people maybe? They are very, very dangerous. Especially when they are put in positions of authority.
What is your worst habit?
I have no filter, so I would say I sometimes engage my mouth before my brain.
What is your favourite book?
Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. Like every other traveller, I read it while backpacking, so it reminds me of an incredibly exciting part of my life.
What is your favourite TV programme?
I love ’Strictly’. In a world that’s so serious so much of the time, it’s nice to escape to all the glitz and glamour.
What is your favourite band/artist at the moment?
I took my son away to see a James Bay concert in the summer and he was amazing live, so we have him on Alexa a lot.
What is your favourite part of the Isle of Man?
We took a day trip to the Calf of Man in the summer holidays and I was blown away by it.
What is the last show/band that you saw live?
Theatrefest, of course! Krissy and I produced a festival of new work for the theatre and we were so proud of it. I’m often stunned at how forward thinking our little island is and Theatrefest definitely show this to its fullest.
If time/money were no object, what would be your perfect day?
Bright sunshine, my son, campervan, picnic, dogs and an early night. Sleep is something that I don’t get much of.
Choose three people, dead or alive, to invite to dinner?
Marilyn Monroe, Rik Mayall and my dad. It would be a recipe for disaster but would be epic!
Which do you prefer:
Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
Harry Potter
Cats or dogs?
Dogs
Birthday or Christmas?
Christmas
Starter or pudding?
both
Quiet night in or night out?
Quiet night in... with wine.
