Many of the island’s top artists joined together for a collaborative exhibition, celebratng pottery and ceramic artwork on Sunday.

Nine artists, including Anna Clucas, Colette Gambell, Vici Blackburn, Natalie Norton, Faye Christian, Marta Ludwig-Looney, Jackie van Toor, Erika Kermode and Colleen Corlett, all demonstrated their mastery of creating using clay, with examples including a range of animal figure heads, a series of zodiac ornaments, functional items, such as a range of plates and bowls depicting local scenes and sealife representations and ceramic jewellery.

The exhibition also featured a display of fine, delicate white porcelain pieces by Colette Gambell, a series of life-sized animal heads and fantasy creatures.

The exhibition is open at the gallery until Sunday, April 15, after which there will be a three-day workshop featuring the UK-based potter Richard parker, who was featured on the BBC TV show ’The Great British Throw Down’.
