Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a fire in Peel last night (Monday).

Crews from Peel, Kirk Michael and Douglas were mobilised to a reported structure fire in Market Street at around 5.55pm.

Smoke was seen coming from the property when firefights arrived at the scene.

Once inside, crews found a pan which had been left on the hob.

Eventually this was removed and the property was ventilated, with no occupants in the property at the time.

The crews were in attendance for 40 minutes.
