The Red Arrows will once again take to Manx skies this summer as part of the Isle of Man TT festival, organisers have confirmed.

The Royal Air Force aerobatic team will perform over Douglas Bay at 7.30pm on June 4, offering spectators one of the highlights of the fortnight.

The display has been a regular feature of the TT since 1979, drawing thousands of residents and visitors each year.

The Department for Enterprise said: ‘The Red Arrows display has long held a special place in the TT calendar.’

A spokesperson added it is ‘a moment when Douglas Bay turns its attention skyward’.

This year’s TT Races are scheduled to take place from May 25 to June 6.
