Dredging has begun in Peel Marina after Covid restrictions on construction schemes were lifted.
And work on another major project put on hold by coronavirus - the £25m revamp of Douglas promenades - will resume on Monday (May 4).
Across the island builders and tradesman have been back in action after the Manx government agreed a phased return to work for the construction sector and allied trades as well as gardeners and window cleaners.
Those who do go back to work have to comply with rules on social distancing and measures to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
Work this week resumed on improving the Heritage Trail on the route of the old railway line between Crosby and Greeba.
Track works at the Manx Electric Railway crossing just north of the Liverpool Arms have been taking place.
Highways teams have begun surface patching works at various sites in West Baldwin between Mount Rule and West Baldwin village.
And volunteers behind the restoration of Queen’s Pier, Ramsey, have also been given the green light to begin work again.
