The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Dry and bright at first, but a strengthening southeast wind will bring thicker cloud with rain and gales this evening. Temperatures around 7 Celsius.
The rain will clear overnight as the winds turn southwest and ease slightly.
Dry for much of tomorrow but a spell of heavy rain will spread across the island tomorrow evening as the fresh to strong south to southwest winds will increase to gale or severe gale force tomorrow evening, with gusts of 60 to 65 miles per hour, with some coastal overtopping around the time of high tide (~11pm).
Heavy rain will continue at times on Sunday morning, still with a gale to severe gale force southwest wind, which will turn to the west but remain gale force as the rain clears to scattered showers into the afternoon. Temperature 11 Celsius during the morning but falling by a few degrees into the afternoon and feeling colder in the wind.
