A Manx-born professional singer and performance vocal coach has helped to bring together more than 120 singers and healthcare workers to record a special song in praise of the UK NHS.

Jonathan Eio a singer who has performed in many West End and global touring shows, teamed up with his friend and professional music director Richard Healey to write and produce ’Forever (Love Is Love)’ which was released earlier this month to raise funds for health workers in the UK and for the UK’s struggling theatre industry.

The two friends, who are based in England and are still faced with social restrictions, created the song over many long zoom sessions, and released it through their own company, RHJ Entertainment.

They then enlisted the help of, what Jonathan describes as ’ a community of more than 120 people, with , musicians, professional singers and actors, amateur performers, NHS workers, students and school children all contributed their talents.

’The song is a thank you to everyone who has cared for and continues to care for those in need during these difficult times,’ said Jonathan.

’We are in awe of you, we are inspired by you and we see you. For forever.’

The song is available to hear via Youtube.
