At a magic show held at Bunscoill Rhumsaa in Ramsey, Juan Corrin was awarded the Arthur Culpin Challenge Cup and the title Magician of Mann 2017.

The show, produced by Lexi Dernie, was staged by the local magic club for the Rotary Club of Ramsey, to raise funds for a project in Nepal.

Eight acts competed on stage.

The cup was presented to Juan by David Evans, who is chairman of the Rotary Foundation and International Committee of the the Rotary Club of Ramsey.

Other competitors in the show, compered by Mike Clague, were Chris Burns, Michael Kelly, Rosalie Beaumont, Keith Greenland, Giles Beaumont, Juan Moore and Michael Daniels.

While the judges scores were being added up, John Cain from Peel - Magician of Mann 2016 - entertained with his amazing performance.
