The Super Manx Key Workers Thank You Parade will leave the TT Grandstand in Douglas at 3pm today.
It will travel along the TT course for a single lap.
Police officers will be at many major junctions en route.
The parade will take place on open roads.
People travelling in the other direction should expect minor delays at certain junctions along the route, the police say.
The police will escort the parade around the course with officers at the front and rear.
A spokesman said: ’Under no circumstances should any person overtake or attempt to overtake the rear police vehicle or seek to join the parade after its departure from the grandstand.’
Spectators are expected to line the course to cheer key workers taking part.
The parade will consist of a line of vehicles, representing workers and organisations that kept the island running smoothly during the Covid-10 response at the front, followed by motorcycles and cars.
The parade is expected to end at about 4.30pm.
