An island firm is inviting children and young people in the island to showcase their creativity ahead of World Kindness Day on Saturday, November 13.

Audit and accountancy firm, Grant Thornton Isle of Man, is encouraging island youngsters to design a poster to show what kindness means to them.

The competition is open for three age groups: up to six years-old, seven to nine years and 10 plus, with prizes for each age category.

The overall winner will receive a £100 book voucher for their school.

Lyndsay Brew, associate director at Grant Thornton Isle of Man, said: ’We’re excited to launch this competition to coincide with World Kindness Day 2021, which is all about spreading joy, promoting good deeds and making the world a better place.

’We can’t wait to see the entries start to come in and encourage children to be make their posters as creative, colourful and fun as possible.’

Posters should be A4, include the words ’World Kindness Day 2021’ and be submitted to the Grant Thornton office at Exchange House (third floor), Athol Street, Douglas, IM1 1JD by hand or by post.

They can also be submitted via email to [email protected] by Tuesday, November 9.

Entries should also include the young person’s name, age, contact number and school on the back of the poster.
