Peel is set to welcome the return of a popular singer who specialises in recreating the sounds of 1940s and 50s-era rhythm and blues.

Dubbed the ’King of Vintage’, singer Si Cranstoun is to appear at the Peel Centenary Centre on Saturday, April 6, from 7.30pm.

This will be third time the UK singer has appeared in Peel, with each of his previous shows selling out quickly.

The energetic and charismatic frontman, who’s last album, ’Old School’, was released in 2016, is in the middle of a UK tour, after which he flies out for a show in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the Peel concert are £18, available online from etickets.im/cc
