The Cabinet Office is advertising for two lay members to join the Manx Utilities board.

Chris Allen has announced his intention to resign in May.

Chairman Dr Alex Allinson MHK said: ’We will be extremely sorry to see Chris leave the Manx Utilities board.

’He has been an extremely active member of the team whose duties included chairing our Environment Council and maintaining an active involvement working with staff regarding corporate health, safety and environmental performance in addition to attending standard board meetings.

’Chris brought to the board his extensive engineering experience and professionalism and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for his support over the last four years and wish him well for the future.’
