The Steam Packet has announced this afternoon’s Liverpool sailing has been cancelled.

With bad weather forecast, the ferry operator has decided to cancel the 3pm Manannan sailing and subsequent 7.15pm return to the island.

The company said: ’If you have an online account you can amend your booking online, alternatively you can contact our reservations team on 01624 661661 or 08722 992 992 to make alternative arrangements.’

This evening’s Ben-my-Chree sailing to Heysham at 8.15pm and overnight return at 2.15am are still scheduled to operate as normal.
