Many of the concerts and shows organised by a local promoter and due to take place at the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre this year have been rescheduled for 2021.

The much-anticipated appearances by Irish comedian Paul Smith (above) has been rescheduled, with one concert set to take place later this year, on Wednesday, November 18, and early next year, on Wednesday, February 24.

The award-winning comedian is being brought to the island by RS Promotions.

The 80s new wave pop China Crisis have also switched the date of their concert to Friday, May 7. They were originally set to perform earlier this month.

Also, the Status Quo tribute band The Quo Experience will now perform at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

The legendary UK funk and disco group The Real Thing will now appear at the Gaiety Theatre on the island on Friday, April 16, 2021.

The group were due to perform during July this year.
