Mainly dry and bright with sunny spells today, and a light to moderate north-westerly wind. Temperatures reaching up to 18°C in more sheltered spots inland.

This evening and tonight will be dry, but often cloudy as the moderate to fresh north to northwest wind falls light and turns to the southwest overnight, with minimum temperature near to 9°C.

Much of tomorrow will be dry with some sunshine and highs of 17 or possibly 18°C. The sun will turn hazy during the afternoon though as the cloud thickens, bringing rain later in the evening & overnight. The moderate south to southwest wind will become strong to gale force during the evening with gusts of 40-50mph possible in places overnight.

Any rain at first on Thursday will very quickly clear, leaving a scattering of showers during the morning, before turning dry with bright or sunny spells developing during the afternoon. Maximum temperature of 18°C as the very strong southwest wind turns to the west during the morning and slowly eases during the day.
