William Michael Corrin, aged 56, of Derby Road, Douglas, has appeared in court charged with 10 counts of benefit fraud.

The offences are alleged to have been committed between May 2017 and March 2022, and involve an overpayment in the region of £31,000.

He was represented in court by duty advocate David Reynolds who asked for an adjournment until July 4, to allow time to review the case papers.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
