Michael James Holden, aged 55, of Fairways Drive, Douglas, has appeared in court charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and property damage.

The offences are alleged to have been committed on August 8.

He was represented in court by duty advocate Victoria Kinrade who asked for an adjournment until August 29, saying that Mr Holden would be instructing Jane Gray.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions to live at his home address and not to contact the complainant.
