A gale warning and rough seas means today’s Manannan sailings to Liverpool have been cancelled.

The Ben my Chree has left for Heysham and is due to depart for Douglas on time.

But the Steam Packet has warned passengers on the 2.15pm sailing that due to the conditions they may arrive in Douglas later than normal, at 6pm.

No disruption is expected on the 8pm sailing to Heysham.
