The Tides have a brand new single out this week.

’It Takes Two’ is the group’s second release, following their debut single, ’Mates’, which was released in January 2019.

The song was written by singer Kaysee Craine and guitarist Danny Foulis, and recorded by Gypo Buggane at Ballagroove studios, along with bassist and pianist Fraser Rowe, drummer Charlie Crowe and Iain Roy on lead guitars.

It is an upbeat and lively song which, according the band, is all about maintaining friendships throughout your life.

’The song was written with the intention of conveying the message that, throughout life, some of the best times, memories and secrets are normally shared with someone close,’ said guitarist Danny.

’Despite maybe following different paths, or maybe growing apart, it’s always good to still remember the very things that brought you close to begin with.’

’It Takes Two’ is available to stream or buy on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Amazon Music.
