Hector Duff, who took part in the D-Day landings, attended the London remembrance service on Sunday.
The Sulby-born veteran had the honour of placing a wreath on the Cenotaph on behalf of the Spirit of Normandy Trust.
After the war, Hector has dedicated his time to educate others about the realities of conflict, as well as preserving the memory of those who died in battle.
Steve Hall, Hector’s grandson (pictured), escorted him on the trip to London.
