Plans to allow visiting medical staff to use the police station in Port Erin as accommodation for the TT and Festival of Motorcycling have been approved.

The building, on Station Road, is already used as a training base for the police.

The work (18/01335/C)

involves converting the first floor to accommodate up to 10 medical staff during race weeks.

The local authority had no objection.
