A big thank you to everyone who shared their views and suggestions on Isle of Man Newspapers’ titles and website.

Editor Richard Butt, deputy editor Jackie Turley and deputy chairman Trudi Williamson took part in a ’meet the editor’ event at Victoria Road Shoprite, in Douglas, on Saturday.

Lots of shoppers came to our stand with a list of questions and suggestions for features and articles, while others were happy to stop and take part in a survey about our three newspapers and iomtoday website.

Feedback

Mr Butt said: ’Thank you to everyone who came along and shared their opinions and ideas for what they’d like to see more of in the Examiner, Manx Independent, and Courier as well as the iomtoday website.

’It is heart-warming to know that our products, which our team put so much effort into producing, mean so much to many in the island’s community.

’We are currently analysing all of the feedback and responses that we received on the day so that we can continue to deliver what matters most to our readers.’

He added: ’I’d also like to thank Shoprite for its support in staging the "meet the editor" event.’

The five winners of £10 Shoprite vouchers, drawn from those who completed our readers’ survey, will be contacted shortly.
