Laxey Flour Mill has confirmed it has increased the amount of its produce available in shops.
The company said its primary concern at this moment is the safety of our customers, staff as well as our larger community and to continue production in order to supply flour.
A statement posted by the Mill said: ’Due to the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations of medical and governmental officials, Laxey Glen Mills will not be accepting cash sales direct from the Mill until further notice.
’In order to ensure continuity of service we have increased our supplies to our on-Island retail outlets.
’We will continue to monitor the global and local progression of COVID-19, as well as the recommendations of medical and government professionals to assess when normal services may resume.
’Thank you for your patience.’
