The Isle of Man Islamic Association has donated £500 to MCH.

It was raised during Ramadan - the month in which Muslims embrace fasting, compassion, mercy and charity.

The association’s president, Rasheed El Abdalla, presented the cheque to Andrea Chambers, chief executive officer of MCH, during a visit to the charity’s headquarters, The Lisa Lowe Centre.

MCH, formerly Manx Cancer Help, provides specialist psychological therapies for people affected by cancer and other long- term conditions.
