A bright and largely dry day today, with sunny intervals and only isolated showers. Breezy through the morning with fresh to strong westerly winds, but these will ease during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 Celsius.

A very uncertain forecast for Friday at present, with some rain possible, although this may stay to the south of the island, light winds and highs of 11 Celsius.

Then the weekend will see sunshine and only isolated showers, light winds and 11 or 12 Celsius.
