A motorcyclist sustained what police described as ’potentially life changing’ injuries following a crash at Greeba.

The main Douglas to Peel Road was closed for a time in both directions following the single vehicle collision which happened about 4pm today.

Police said the rider was taken to Noble’s Hospital for assessment and treatment and had potentially life changing injuries despite the accident being at low speed.

Officers urged all local and visiting motorcyclists to remember how vulnerable they are on their bikes.
