A number of roads have been flooded due to heavy rain.

The Department of Infrastructure put a statement online advising motorists to drive carefully.

It said: ’The Department is currently dealing with a number of flooded roads due to the sheer volume of rain we are experiencing.

’As there is a large amount of standing water on the roads which the Department is dealing with, could motorists please drive to the conditions and reduce their speed.’The DoI has not said which roads have specifically been affected.
