The mountain road has been opened again.Earlier this morning it closed because of black ice.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice.

The forecast:

A cold and windy day, with strong westerly winds and temperature of 5 or 6 Celsius. However, the majority of the day will be dry and sunny, with only very isolated wintry showers.

Still strong westerly winds on Wednesday, with thickening cloud possibly bringing a little patchy rain. Milder with temperatures up to 8 Celsius.

Cloudy on Thursday, still with the risk of a few outbreaks of rain.
