The Mountain Road will shut today for emergency repairs.
The Mountain Road will close between the junction with Tholt y Will Road (Bungalow) and Hillberry, Onchan, today between 9.15am and 4pm.
A number of potholes and surface defects have appeared following the recent very wet and freezing weather conditions.
The road has to close while the Department of Infrastructure carries out the repairs.

Although the road will be formally closed between Hillberry and the Creg Ny Baa pub, customers will be allowed to travel from Hillberry and return the same route.
But the speed limit between the two points will be 20mph.
The pub will also be accessible via the Creg Ny Baa Back Road, giving access to routes to and from Onchan and Laxey.
