Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman had a nappy bag taken off the counter while she was being served in the Tower House cafe, Douglas.

The grey nappy bag with brown straps contained a purse and a number of baby-related items.

It is believed that there were a number of people around at the time of the incident which took place at about 10.45am last Thursday (August 24). Police say inquires are progressing but anyone with any information is asked to contact Constable Marc Chinn at Douglas police headquarters on 631212.
