For the third year running the Royal Navy will be represented during the TT.

Our crew will have opportunities to engage in several activities including joining in with the 1,500 strong TT marshals.
’We know from previous visits that having highly trained sailors as part of their team is something the TT marshals welcome and we hope to enjoy watching the racing whilst also working alongside the Orange Army.
’We are also looking forward to being driven around the TT course by local owner-drivers of performance cars who have kindly given up their time to allow us to see the Isle of Man from the exciting perspective of a powerful Porsche, Ferrari or Lotus.’"
Additionally crew members will have the chance to assist the local police roads traffic team using their paramedic and firefighting skills.
The ship will be berthed near to the famous Bushy’s beer tent on Douglas Promenade and some o crew members have been in training for a penalty shoot-out match against the local Manx Army Reservists team to be held at 4pm at Bushy’s on Mad Sunday.
Lt Cdr Drewett said: ’I hope as many local or visiting ex-sailors and marines as possible will come along to support the Senior Service in this competition. It will be good-natured but of course, the Navy love beating our Army friends at anything!’
