Alby Oldham was elected as chairman of Ramsey Commissioners for the municipal year 2021-22, with Ffinlo Williams as his deputy.

The previous chairman, Andy Cowie, has stepped down. The following lead members were appointed: finance, general purposes and establishment - Juan McGuinness (re-elected); works and development - Stephen Kelly (new member); housing and property - Wilf Young; parks and leisure - Simon Court (new member).

In last month’s authority election, nine candidates came forward to fill 12 seats, leaving three seats still vacant.
