Douglas Lawn Tennis Club has come to an agreement to lease Kensington Road Sports Ground from Douglas Council for 21 years. The club needed to secure a new long term deal to be eligible for funding from the Lawn Tennis Association for replacement of its astro turf courts which are nearing the end of their life.

The new deal will run until 2040 and the club will also take over responsibility for remedial works.
