A former restaurant in Douglas will be transformed into personal training studios after planners gave the go-ahead.

L’Experience left its home at the bottom of Summer Hill and moved into the Regency Hotel in 2020.

Since then, the former restaurant building has been waiting for a new tenant and now it looks like it may have one.

With this approval the building will house three studios and the necessary utilities.

Darren Jones of Fit Hub Limited submitted the application to convert the restaurant to training studios which has now received approval.

The business already operates a popular hub in Ramsey.
