With the inevitable news that all the pubs are to shut for the next couple of weeks, that brings the obvious added kicker that all local gigs are cancelled too.

This weekend should have brought the long-awaited debut gig for the new local Iron Maiden tribute band ’Island Maiden’, who were due to take their bow at Quids Inn tomorrow night.

Lets hope they can get theselves sorted with a new date soon.

However, to make up for cancelling their upcoming gigs, indie rockers Sunset Jet have released their latest single.

The hard-working three-piece released ’Sh#tshow’ on all platforms last week and followed it up with an brilliant and impressive video, with each members planted into some classic movie scenes.

The video is available to watch on YouTube.

This is the group’s ninth single release to date, with each one being a perfect slice of pop and rock with harmonies inspired as much by the Beach Boys as anyone else.

Currently the reigning battle of the band champions, they are well worth checking out and their previous singles can be heard on the band’s Bandcamp page.
