The official handover has taken place of eight new purpose-built flats in Marion Road, Onchan.

Four ground floor units have built-in wet rooms and other design features to assist tenants with mobility or other special needs, while the upper floors are more suited to tenants without problems with mobility.

Receiving the homes from Kris Killip of Tooms Brothers, Mr Allen said: ’These new properties are a great addition to our portfolio, as the authority strives to provide an even better housing service.’
