The Isle of Man Astronomical Society will be staging free star gazing sessions in Onchan next week.
The events have been rescheduled after organisers were previously thwarted by bad weather.
This time, organisers hope it will go ahead, but, as ever, successful sessions will be dependent on conditions, and rain or full cloud cover will mean it does not go ahead.
The location for the sessions are the long path between the Onchan park boating lake and the golf course, and the sessions will take place on Monday, February 27, Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1.
The start time on each night is 7pm and duration is expected to be no more than two hours.
The Isle of Man has a number of designated dark skies areas making star gazing in the island a better quality experience, unhindered by light pollution prevalent in some large cities. Organisers say a small torch, directed at the ground, not the sky, is useful, but green lasers are not.
Attendees are advised to wear warm clothing, and children should be accompanied by an adult.
