The Steam Packet is not sailing again this morning because of the stormy conditions.
The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings: one for coastal overtopping and one for wintry showers and icy patches.
Mostly dry today with a small risk of the odd wintry shower. These could be a mix of sleet, snow or hail. Strong to gale force west or west-southwest wind and a maximum temperature of 5°C but feeling much colder than that in the wind.
Sunny intervals but also an odd wintry showers tomorrow morning. Rain, heavy at times, arriving overnight into Thursday. Gale force west or southwest winds decreasing through the day. Top temperature 6°C.
On Thursday rain clearing to showers during the morning as it becomes dry with some brightness in the afternoon. Fresh to strong southeast winds will gradually ease and temperatures up to 6°C.
