A popular stand-up comedian and TV chatshow personality is bring his latest comedy tour to the Isle of Man later this year.
Alan Carr will appear on the Royal Hall stage at the Villa Marina on Wednesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 10.
He has returned to his stand-up comedy roots with his latest tour, bringing his new show, ’Not Again, Alan’, to venues up and down the UK over a three-month period.
This is his first comedy tour in four years since his last travelling show, ’Yap, Yap, Yap’, in 2015.
He visited the island in 2007 as part of his ’Tooth Fairy’ tour, selling out the Villa Marina within hours of tickets going on sale.
Despite being an award-winning stand-up comedian, Alan is, of course, best known for his lengthy list of hit comedy and chat show television programmes.
He has been an ever-present face on our screens ever since he presented the riotous Friday Night Project on Channel Four in 2005.
This led him to securing several shows under his own name, including Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong in 2008 and his hugely popular comedy chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which went out on Channel 4 between 2009 and 2016.
He also hosted his own BBC Radio 2 show, Going Out With Alan Carr’.
