The number of people out of work in the Isle of Man has dropped.
Government figures released today show that the number registered as unemployed was 313 at the end of June.
That’s a drop of 17 from the previous month.
The government’s economic affairs division says that this means only 0.7% of the ’economically active’ population is registered as jobless.
But, using International Labour Organisation estimates, the fitures are 758 out of work, with an unemployment rate of 1.8%.
