The former Paramount City nightclub in Douglas is up for sale for half-a-million pounds.
The club on the promenade, which has been closed for several years, is listed by Cowley Groves for £550,000.
The estate agent describes it as ’a unique opportunity to purchase a once popular and thriving nightclub’ which is made up of three floors and overlooks the bay.
It goes on to say that the building ’is in need of total refurbishment and could offer both residential and commercial opportunities, subject to the necessary planning permissions’.
Above the nightclub are two flats which contain a total of three bedrooms with one being en suite.
The club began life at The Crescent, then Paramount City, which is most remembered among today’s party goers, before reverting to its former name again in 2012.
The building was previously offered for sale at auction in 2017 with a guide price of £400,000.
It’s closure was seen as a sign of the time as the capital’s nightlife concentrated in central Douglas and along the North Quay following the closure of venues like Summerland and White City.
